"La pittura è solo un altro modo di tenere un diario" diceva Picasso, un esempio seguito da Antonio Zenadocchio, che diviene spesso cronista della realtà.
Nasce a Frosinone nel 1953, figlio di un pittore tuttavia
solo in età matura segue la strada intrapresa dal padre
Negli anni ’70 studia composizione musicale e conosce Ennio
Morricone che sarà anche un grande maestro di vita.
Realizza numerose opere dal 1980 ed esordisce nel 2017 con
una mostra personale ad Arischia alla quale seguono molte altre sia in Italia
che all’estero ricevendo numerosi premi e riconoscimenti
Alcune tele sono in
esposizione permanente presso Museo Haegeumgang nella città di Geoje in Corea
del Sud, nel Museo Internacional de Electrografia nella città di Cuenca in
Spagna e al Museo naturalistico di Sant'Oreste a Roma.
Dal 2019 è presente nell’annuario Artisti e nel Catalogo
d’arte moderna e dal 2020 nel Catalogo Artisti Italiani.
Vive all’Aquila dove frequenta il Caffè letterario della
città, luogo d’incontro dove si svolgono discorsi culturali e d’attualità.
Artista impegnato nel sociale, ha donato numerose opere per
la ricostruzione dei comuni del centro Italia danneggiati dal terremoto del
2009.
È un attento osservatore della società, dei sentimenti più
profondi e con estrema facilità oscilla dal figurativo, all’astratto ed al
surreale.

L'insegnante di pittura è stato mio padre, ricordo che
mi affascinava vederlo dipingere o costruire i pennelli con setole naturali;
era amico e collega di lavoro del noto pittore Amleto Cencioni.
L’incontro col grande Ennio Morricone, quand’ero adolescente,
ha decisamente influenzato la mia vita. Era un uomo con un carattere un po’
spigoloso, consapevole della propria genialità ma molto umile.
Quelle straordinarie lezioni del Maestro, riguardanti la musica
ma anche la filosofia, ho cercato di farle mie e trasferirle nella pittura.
Ho sviluppato una forte sensibilità in seguito a due episodi
drammatici che mi ha riservato la vita. Ho infatti rischiato di morire in un
grave incidente sul lavoro e poi ho vissuto in prima persona il terribile
terremoto dell’Aquila nel 2009. Tanto dolore mi ho spinto a cercare il bello in
tutte le sue manifestazioni e ad apprezzare appieno i rapporti umani.
Credo che l’arte sia un nobile mezzo di comunicazione e deve
arrivare allo spettatore a volte col figurativo altre volte col simbolismo o
surrealismo…
Attraverso le mie opere desidero far sognare, emozionare ma
soprattutto riflettere. Ritengo che sia
compito dell’arte cercare quella bellezza che va oltre l’aspetto esteriore e
risiede nell’anima.

reality.
He was born
in Frosinone in 1953, son of a painter, but only at a mature age he follows the
path taken by his father.
In the 1970s
he studies musical composition and meets Ennio Morricone, who will also be a
great master of life for him.
He has been making numerous works since 1980 and debuts in 2017 with a solo exhibition in Arischia followed by many others both in Italy and abroad, receiving numerous awards and awards.
Some canvases are on permanent display at the
Haegeumgang Museum in the city of Geoje in South Korea, in the Museo
Internacional de Electrografia in the city of Cuenca in Spain and at the
Sant'Oreste Nature Museum in Rome.
Since 2019
it’s present in the Yearbook Artists and in the Catalog of Modern Art and since
2020 in the Catalog of Italian Artists.
He lives in
L'Aquila, where he attends the Literary Café of the city, a meeting place where
cultural and current events take place.
He is a
socially committed artist, and donated numerous works for the reconstruction of
the municipalities of central Italy damaged by the 2009 earthquake.
He is an
attentive observer of society, of the deepest feelings and with extreme ease,
he oscillates from figurative, abstract and surreal.
THE ARTIST TELLS HIMSELF
My painting
teacher was my father, I remember being fascinated to see him paint or build
brushes with natural bristles; he was a friend and work colleague of the
well-known painter Hamlet Cencioni.
The meeting
with the great Ennio Morricone, when I was a teenager, greatly influenced my
life. He was a man with a somewhat edgy character, aware of his own genius but
very humble.
Those
extraordinary lessons of the Master, concerning music but also philosophy, I
tried to make them my own and to transfer them through painting.
I developed a
strong sensitivity following two dramatic episodes that life has reserved for
me. I, in fact, risked dying in a serious accident at work and then I
experienced firsthand the terrible earthquake in L'Aquila in 2009. So much pain
has driven me to look for beauty in all its manifestations and to fully
appreciate human relationships.
I believe
that art is a noble means of communication and that it must reach the viewer sometimes
with figurative, other times with symbolism or surrealism ...
Through my works I wish to make people dream, to excite them but above all to make them reflect. I believe that it is the task of art to seek that beauty that goes beyond the external aspect and resides in the soul.
